The much-anticipated release of the Michael Jackson biopic, “Michael,” will be delayed. Originally scheduled to hit theaters on April 18th, the film will now premiere on October 3rd of next year. The reason for this postponement has not been disclosed. Produced with the cooperation of Jackson’s estate, the biopic promises to look back at the King of Pop’s “human side,” highlighting his “personal struggles” and “undeniable creative genius.”
Michael Jackson, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 50, is interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. This cemetery is also the final resting place of his father, Joe Jackson, and recently, his older brother Tito Jackson. Tito was laid to rest on Monday, nearly two months after succumbing to a heart attack at the age of 70.
The private ceremony for Tito Jackson was attended by close family members, including siblings La Toya and Marlon, as well as two of Michael’s children, Paris and Bigi, also known as Blanket.
