Rob Lowe shares a big memory

The members of Toto are known for their extensive work as session musicians, contributing to hundreds of albums throughout their careers. However, there's one session that has recently come to light that fans would love to hear someday. Actor Rob Lowe revealed on his podcast, ‘Literally! With Rob Lowe,’ that he once recorded with Toto. This news came during a discussion about the Yacht Rock genre and the documentary Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary.

Lowe shared a story about his wild days in the '80s, saying, "There was a minute in the ’80s where I was definitely doing too much Bolivian marching powder and just being a lunatic. And [it was] also coming at the time in a young actor’s career where they’re too old to play the roles they’ve been playing, but they’re too young to play the roles that will last you the rest of your life, which are really the great ones. And you can kind of feel it." It was during this tumultuous period that Lowe's passion for music led him to consider a musical career, resulting in a demo recording session with Toto.

Lowe did not divulge any further details about the session, leaving fans curious and eager to hear the results. We’ll see if that ever happens.
