Steven Tyler returned to the stage Sunday night in Hollywood, marking his first public performance since rupturing his larynx in 2023. The event was his sixth annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party at the Hollywood Palladium. Tyler treated the audience to six songs, starting with Extreme's "More Than Words" alongside Nuno Bettencourt and Mick Fleetwood. He continued with a powerful rendition of "Toys in the Attic", followed by "Dream On" with Lainey Wilson.
Tyler also performed "Sweet Emotion" with Aerosmith bassist and co-writer Tom Hamilton, joined by Chris Robinson from The Black Crowes. Steven also rocked "Walk This Way", featuring Jessie J, and concluded with a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Heartbreaker". Although Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry couldn't attend due to a family matter, he sent a video greeting and a guitar for the auction, adding a special touch to the evening.
Proceeds from the event benefited Janie’s Fund, which Tyler founded to support young women and girls who have survived abuse.
