This past January, Ringo Starr released his first album in six years -- following five EPs -- and it was a return to country music, which he did on his second album, 1970's Beaucoups of Blues.
Produced by T-Bone Burnett, Look Up was well received and now they're recording a follow-up at Ringo's home studio in Beverly Hills, California.
He made the announcement in a new video in which he thanks fans for all the birthday wishes on July 7th, his 85th.
In the clip he jokes that it won't be called Look Up 2.
Ringo returns to the road with his All Starr Band starting September 10th in Chicago for 11 shows through September 27th in Las Vegas -- the last of six shows on the Strip.
