Stevie Nicks made a triumphant return to the stage with a show in Portland after recovering from a fractured shoulder. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer surprised the crowd with a rare gem — a live performance of Fleetwood Mac’s “Angel,” a song she hadn’t sung on stage since 1983. The moment was especially meaningful for her longtime fans, as Stevie has previously shared that the song was inspired by Mick Fleetwood, not so much their romantic history, but his unique style and presence. “It’s all about him and his crazy fob watch and his really beautiful clothes,” she once wrote in liner notes.

Stevie also showcased her new music, performing her recent single “The Lighthouse,” which she first debuted on Saturday Night Live last year. The song’s haunting melody and introspective lyrics were a perfect fit for her signature mystical stage presence.

It’s good to see Stevie back out rocking on the road.
