Comic actor Chuck McCann died on Sunday at age 83. You may recall the 70's children's show "Far Out Space Nuts" starring McCann and Bob Denver. Chuck McCann also co-starred in a long-running series of witty TV commercials for Right Guard deodorant as the "Hi, guy" guy.
The campaign -- in which two neighbors share a medicine cabinet -- proved so enduring that one of the current My Pillow commercials uses exactly the same technique. Here's Chuck -- and co-star Bill Fiore-- pitching the product in 1979.
