New Orleans Residents Protest Trash Crisis By Throwing A Parade

There’s one thing they do better than anyone in New Orleans… throw a parade.

That’s why residents organized one to protest the fact that their trash hasn’t been collected in weeks. The "Trash Parade" saw people dressed in trash fashion, and marched carrying protest signs. They even had floats!

During a city council meeting, the CEO of one of the waste companies said his people have “been down every street.” One resident called him out for lying. There have been over nine thousand garbage complaints so far.

Now city workers will be picking up the slack to get the situation under control… and they may be in the market for new trash collectors.
