Big 95 Music News: Billy Joel, Sting

BILLY JOEL:  Another child on the way

Billy Joel will soon become a father for the third time. In an interview with Northern Ireland's Belfast Telegram, the Piano Man announced that his wife Alexis is about a month away from giving birth to the couple's second child.

At 68, Billy seems at ease with a second round of late-life fatherhood. He says two-year-old Della Rose is "pretty good... She sleeps through the night. I hope the next one will."

Billy is scheduled to play a show in Dublin next June.

STING:  Thanks fans for a great tour

Sting wrapped up his tour in support of his recent album, 57th & 9th, Tuesday night in Romania.

He writes on Facebook, "We played to over 800,000 people and didn't cancel one show. Thanks for supporting us, especially the people that came more than once. You know who you are. As always, I'm happy and grateful. See you all next time out."

Up next for Sting is the November 10th release on DVD and Blu-ray of Live at the Olympia Paris, which was captured this past April. Then on Record Store Day, November 24th, it's Live at the Bataclan, a 12-inch vinyl disc with six songs from his November 12th, 2016 show marking the first anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Paris venue.
