REO Speedwagon rocked Waco at Sunday's Bowen MusicFest

REO SPEEDWAGON:  80's super band rocked Waco's Bowen MusicFest on Sunday

In front of thousands of rock 'n roll fans, the legendary REO Speedwagon took the stage in sweltering summer heat at Waco's Bowen MusicFest on Sunday evening and rocked the house.  This band first emerged as a radio mainstay in the late 70's and their success only grew larger in the 80's with hits like "Keep On Loving You," "Take It On The Run," and "Can't Fight This Feeling" (their only #1 hit).

REO Speedwagon even rocked out some of their more rare gems like 1987's "That Ain't Love" and "Time For Me To Fly."  Proceeds from Bowen MusicFest benefit Central Texans through the Bowen Family Foundation.  Our special thanks to Wade Bowen and his amazing family for another great year of Bowen MusicFest.

We also want to send a shout out to promoter Scott Kernahan and of course REO Speedwagon, who were very gracious to meet our BIG 95 KBGO concert winners prior to Sunday evening's concert.  Thank you Central Texas for making Bowen MusicFest a huge success.
