The home of the deep dish pizza will play host, temporarily, to the U.S. Pizza Museum. The museum mostly exists online, but has opted to do a pop up location. Museum founder Kendall Bruns says the new space will be 3,000 square feet and allow him to tell the full story of pizza and its U.S. makers.
A grand opening will be held the weekend of August 10th, and will offer free pizza samples. It will also feature exhibits of pizza-themed clothing, menus, records, and toys.
It will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through the end of October.
