The burger, which is called The Gridiron Challenge Burger and will cost $75, will make its debut during the team's preseason game on Saturday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
"The challenge is to simply finish the burger in a hour or less in order to win a Cardinals jersey and a picture on the videoboard," Doreen Dower, general manager of Craft Culinary Concepts, told TODAY Food. The Arizona Cardinals are challenging fans to eat this mammoth burger that even their biggest players would have a difficult time consuming! The exact count for this giant piece of fast food hasn't been made available, but is estimated at around 8300 calories.
The burger contains five patties that weigh 1/3 of a pound each, five all-beef hot dogs, and five bratwursts. It's topped with 20 slices of American cheese, eight slices of bacon, and eight chicken tenders. It also has 12 ounces of french fries — because why not? In addition, it has lettuce, tomatoes and pickles.
The finishing touch is something called 'tanker' sauce that's a mixture of homemade barbecue sauce and mayonnaise. We feel full already!
