John Lennon's 'Imagine' film headed to theaters in September

JOHN LENNON:  Imagine  film returning to theaters next month

The Imagine film, released by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1972, will return to theaters on September 17th.

The remastered and remixed movie -- which has the same title as a 1988 documentary about Lennon -- features all the songs from the Imaginealbum, as well as two tracks from Ono's Fly album released the same year.

The theater screenings will add 15 minutes of in-studio footage of Lennon, George Harrison, drummer Alan White of Yes, keyboardist Nicky Hopkins and bassist Klaus Voormann performing "How Do You Sleep?" and "Oh My Love."

Head to ImagineJohnYoko.com/the-films/ for info on screenings.
