ARETHA FRANKLIN: Conflict over whether public will be able to attend funeral
Aretha Franklin's family says that her August 31st funeral will remain a private event.
The Queen of Soul's spokesperson said that as of Monday afternoon, the guest list was "coming together" and would still be limited to "family, friends and invited guests." That conflicted with earlier comments from Bishop Charles Ellis the Third of Greater Grace Temple, who said that a section would be reserved for members of the public. (Detroit Free Press)
