Mick Jagger duet with Carly Simon from the 70's has surfaced

MICK JAGGER, CARLY SIMON:  Duet from the 70's has surfaced

Tape of a long-rumored duet by Carly Simon and Mick Jagger surfaced recently -- and is now owned by a prominent Rolling Stones memorabilia collector.

"Fragile" was recorded in 1972, the same year she cut "You're So Vain" with Jagger adding background vocals. The song has never been released.

Matt Lee, who has the tape, sent a copy to Rolling Stone magazine, hoping they'd share it with Simon after she talked about it in a 2016 interview. At the time, Simon said, "We had this little back and forth at the piano for about an hour." and sang a line from it, "Funny, funny, funny, funny, funny, How love can make you cry."

Neither Simon nor Jagger has commented on the discovery of this "lost" song. (Grammy.com)
