JOHN LENNON: Yoko Ono bringing Lennon bus back to New York
The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will return to New York on September 13th, and Ringo Starr will be involved in its initial event.
With a theme of activism, the "Come Together" residency will kick off at 10am from the steps of New York City Hall with a “bed-in.” Joining Yoko Ono and Ringo are actor Jeff Bridges, photographer Henry Diltz, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, and New York City Council speaker Corey Johnson. They will help inspire student activism in honor of John and Yoko’s legendary non-violent protests in support of world peace.
A state of the art mobile recording studio, the Lennon bus provides hands-on experiences for students of all ages. It travels across the U.S. and Canada year-round, providing free tours and workshops at schools, retailers, festivals, and at major industry conferences.
