Boy George had a life changing experience listening to "Maggie May"

We might never have met Boy George if he hadn't stumbled onto a rock classic when he was just a wee lad growing up in a small English town.

The Culture Club leader tells the Press-Enterprise of Riverside, California that he still remembers his first "wow!" musical moment. He says, “My friend had a little transistor radio and ‘Maggie May’ by Rod Stewart was playing. I don’t remember much about my childhood, but I remember that clearly because music has this ability to resonate with you and take you back to times in your life, and that’s the power of music.”
