Chicago will release a pair of live albums in October

posted by DeWayne & Tamme -

A pair of noteworthy Chicago live shows will be released on October 26th.

Live at the Isle of Wight brings their historic 1970 performance at the Isle of Wight Festival to vinyl for the first time. Recorded on August 28th, 1970 as Chicago co-headlined the Isle of Wight Festival with Jimi Hendrix and The Doors, this classic set earlier appeared as part of the Chicago 6 Decades Live box set.

Greatest Hits Live offers 13 Chicago classics recorded in their hometown a year ago for the PBS series Soundstage. They include "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" from the group's 1969 debut; their first number-one single, "If You Leave Me Now" from 1976; and "Hard Habit to Break" from 1984's Chicago 17, which remains their biggest-selling album.
