Gary Numan, the '80s synth-pop artist best-known for his hit "Cars," was involved in a tour bus crash this week in Cleveland which killed an elderly man.
The bus was reportedly making a right turn when it struck a 91-year-old man who was crossing the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Numan, who was in town to perform at The House of Blues, said he was "utterly devastated" and ended up cancelling the show.
He apologized to fans and tweeted, "Everyone of us is filled with a sadness that made it impossible to even consider playing our show this evening, and out of respect it would have been entirely wrong.” (WEWS-TV)
