Barbra Streisand gets topical on her new album 'Walls'

Barbara Streisand takes a topical angle on her upcoming album.

On sale November 2nd, Walls explores her concerns and hopes for the future in a collection filled with beautiful melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.

The diva co-wrote three of the original tunes, including "Don't Lie to Me," a ballad with lyrics apparently aimed at some present day political figures. The 10-time Grammy winner also weaves John Lennon's "Imagine" and Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" into a medley and puts her stamp on the Bacharach - David pop standard "What the World Needs Now."

Barbra Streisand is the only recording artist with number-one albums in six consecutive decades
