Paul McCartney has turned to actress Emma Stone to appear in the next video off his new album, Egypt Station.
The news leaked Monday when Emma was speaking on a panel about anxiety disorder at the Child Mind Institute. The moderator, Dr. Harold S. Koplewicz, mentioned it, leading Emma to say, “I don’t think you’re supposed to announce that.”
Last year, after his show in Brooklyn, Paul and Emma put in an appearance at Club Cumming, a gay club in Manhattan. They also appeared together in One Day a Week, a documentary about animal agriculture's contribution to greenhouse gases and climate change.
McCartney is no stranger to hiring A-list actors for his videos. Some of his most recent clips have featured Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, Johnny Depp, Jeremy Irons, Brad Pitt and Sean Penn.
