The O'Jays release new socially aware song

The O'Jays return to topical territory in their new song.

The Philly soul legends, who gave us the socially aware classics as "For the Love of Money" and "Love Train," have posted "Above the Law" on YouTube.

Along with anxiety-filled lyrics that probe racial, political and economic disparity, the video is fueled by images of such divisive figures as Mitch McConnell, Brett Kavanaugh and Harvey Weinstein, along with newspaper and TV footage underscoring present-day turbulence.

The most powerful line cries out, "The game is fixed, pure politricks."
