James Taylor performed National Anthem at World Series Game 1

James Taylor performed the National Anthem before last night's opening game of the World Series.

The music legend and passionate Red Sox fan -- who has made Fenway Park a regular tour stop -- also performed "The Star Spangled Banner" before games in the 2004, 2007 and 2013 World Series, all of which were won by Boston. (Boston Globe)

James recently recalled the Red Sox shocking 2004 playoff series win over the arch rival Yankees:

"Being a Boston, a Red Sox fan, we were three down needing to win four in a row against the New York Yankees. We knew it wasn't going to happen. And then somehow, miraculously, one game and then, by the skin of our teeth, a second game and then a third game, miraculously. Curt Schilling with the bloody sock. Over and over again, these impossible victories. When it finally happened, people just ran into the streets. It was really, such an event."
