David Crosby has certainly had an interesting life, and he’s getting ready to reveal all in a new documentary, from filmmaker Cameron Crowe.
“Cameron's known me since he was a teenager, and he's a very, very detailed interviewer,” Crosby tells “Billboard” of the flick, which so far doesn’t have a release date. “It's just a dangerously honest documentary… We all felt, you know, this is a pretty heartfelt story and there is a lot to be learned from it. And we thought, f**k it, we're going to tell it like it is.”
While Crosby, Stills & Nash are basically broken up, that doesn’t mean David isn’t making music. He’s been touring and making music with the Lighthouse band, featuring Snarky Puppy mastermind Michael Leagueand vocalists Michelle Willis and Becca Stevens, and has already lined up dates opening for Jason Isbell, with plans on possibly making music with Jason in the future.
“I like Jason a lot, I think he's a really good writer,” Crosby says. “I do think he and I are going to wind up writing a song.”
