The Moody Blues could be getting close to calling it quits

When the Moody Blues did their residency at The Wynn in Las Vegas this past September and October, they did so without founding member and drummer Graeme Edge, who was under the weather.

Edge, who is 77 and has talked about how he wants to wind things down, was determined to get well for the band's private show this past Friday in La Jolla, California, and he did.

Afterwards he posted on Facebook, "It was good to get back on stage at last to see if I could do it. Yeah, it. Went well. So we will see about some more gigs. If only we had beam me up Scotty tech. The traveling is what gets old."

The band has no plans, but Justin Hayward and John Lodge have solo shows scheduled for early 2019.
