Pat Benatar and Eddie Money react to wildfires in California

Pat Benatar and Eddie Money are among the many musicians who live in the affluent Malibu-Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village area of California, which is smack dab in the middle of the wildfires. Each as reacted with posts on Facebook.

Pat and her husband, Neil Giraldo, write:

"There are no words to describe what has happened here in California. The destruction and loss is inconceivable ... Please continue to pray for all the families that have lost everything. For our firefighters, first responders and law enforcement personnel who continue to put their lives in jeopardy, trying to knock down this monster fire... Thank you to everyone for their concern... We are all safe."

Eddie Money says, “We want to thank the California Highway Patrol, sheriffs and firefighters from all over California and also from Flagstaff, Arizona... Please pray for California.”

Neil Young and Bad Company guitarist Howard Leese have lost their homes, and many others have been evacuated, but wish to remain anonymous.
