John Oates says 2019 will "be a very interesting year" for Hall and Oates.
The best-selling duo of the rock and roll era will do three nights at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and spend a lot of time overseas.
John Oates discusses the duo's plans for next year:
"Daryl and I will continue to tour, to take the Hall and Oates Show, actually, around the world. We'll probably be doing a lot of touring outside of the U.S. this year -- Europe, South America, the Far East. We hadn't been doing that for a while. We certainly toured a lot in America over the past five years. So, that's a good time to try something different. So I think 2019 will be a very interesting year."
Claiming that "we're putting our toes in the water in Europe," Oates says there's a chance they'll appear at one or more of the continent's major music festivals.
Hall and Oates will play Las Vegas starting March 20th. So far, those are their only U.S. shows scheduled in the first four months of 2019.
