A Sweet Song for Mom

Billie Lourd has paid tribute to her late mother Carrie Fisher with a sweet video posted to her Instagram. In the clip, the actress plays the piano and sings the song “These Days” originally written by Jackson Browne.

In the caption, Lourd explains the song was one of her mom’s favorites, and that the piano was gifted to Fisher by her father. She also talks about how the song’s lyrics resonate with her on the sad occasion.

“I hope this encourages anyone feeling a little low or lost to ‘keep on moving,’” she writes. “As my Momby once said, ‘take your broken heart and turn it into art’ – whatever that art may be for you.”
