Glenn Frey's doctor challenges financial claim

Glenn Frey's doctor is challenging claims that the Eagles co-founder would have made $12 million had he not died three years ago this month.

His widow Cindy Frey has sued Doctor Steven Itzkowitz for negligence regarding how he treated Glenn for ulcerative colitis. The amount is based on what she believes Frey could have earned from future recordings and tours.

Itzkowitz counters by saying Frey's widow has not provided financial data proving that her husband would have made eight figures if he'd been healthy enough to keep working. But Cindy says the info has been held back because the doctor has not signed a confidentially agreement.

Married in 1990, they Freys had three children. (New York Post)
