Keith Richards will release deluxe edition of 'Talk Is Cheap' album

Keith Richards will celebrate a solo milestone before hitting the road with The Rolling Stones in April.

On March 29th, Keith's first solo album, 1988's Talk Is Cheap, will be reissued for its 30th anniversary.

It contains six unreleased bonus tracks featuring Mick Taylor, Bootsy Collins and the late pianist Johnnie Johnson.

The super deluxe edition, which will set you back over $150, is a six-disc set wrapped in Fender replica guitar case material. The six discs are:

  • Remastered Talk Is Cheap on vinyl
  • Unreleased bonus tracks on vinyl
  • Remastered Talk Is Cheap on CD
  • Unreleased bonus tracks on CD
  • Seven-inch single of "Take It So Hard" b/w "I Could Have Stood You Up"
  • Seven-inch single of "No Mistake" b/w "It Means a Lot"

It also contains an 80-page hardcover book with an essay featuring a new interview with Keith, plus rare and unseen photos of his archives, tour laminates, lyric sheets, a reproduction of the Talk Is Cheap playback invite, a guitar pick and two posters.

There is also a two-CD set, as well as a vinyl edition.

Keith recorded Talk Is Cheap during a falling out with Mick Jagger. The song "You Don't Move Me" is about their differences in the musical direction of the Stones.
