Rick Springfield guests on a new cover of "Who Can It Be Now."
The singer-actor joins fellow Australian artist Cleo Alexandra on a slowed-down, bluesy version of the song that Men at Work took to number-one in 1982.
The connection was her producer, Keith Olsen, who'd worked with Springfield on his signature song "Jessie's Girl." (Noise11.com)
Cleo Alexandra talked with Australia's NBN News about getting Rick Springfield to guest on her cover of "Who Can It Be Now":
"He really, really liked the take we took on the song. And he really liked my vocals on the song. And so he, very graciously, agreed to do the vocals on it. Not too many people get the opportunity to have someone of his caliber working on one of their first-ever singles. So, it could really help get my music out there."
