Lionel Richie's son, Miles Richie, received a "caution" from British police after being detained at Heathrow Airport for allegedly saying he had a bomb and then slugging a security guard.
TMZ reports that the 24-year-old model was angry at being kept off his scheduled flight on Saturday. He first announced that he had bomb in his bag and would detonate it if he wasn't allowed on. He then punched the security guard who tried to intervene. He was detained by police and ultimately was cautioned before being released.According to TMZ, in England a caution is a way of keeping low level crimes from tying up the courts and criminal justice system. The person admits to and takes responsibility for committing a crime, but is not booked or charged. It goes on your record, but that's it.
