Alan Parsons has a new project on the way, but it's a secret

Alan Parsons  is back in the record-making game with his first album in 15 years set for release in April.

Parsons  says The Secret  features "musical and lyrical themes that are very close to my heart and my own interests and passions. I do not really want to reveal a lot about it, except that for the moment everything that surrounds  The Secret  is going to be just that -- a secret!”

Among the singers on the album, his first studio effort since 2004's  A Valid Path , are  Lou Gramm  and  Jason Mraz .

Parsons set sail today (Sunday) on  Justin Hayward 's On the Blues Cruise. He will then follow it up with shows on the East and West Coasts, in Canada and in Europe through June.

Parsons is also celebrating his first ever Grammy win for  Best Immersive Audio Album . He had 12 other nominations, dating back to 1974 for his engineering work on  Dark Side of the Moon  by  Pink Floyd .
