Some of the best artists of our generation came to pay tribute to the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin. Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and Celine Dion were among the singers who took part in the Aretha Franklin tribute show "Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul," which aired on CBS on Sunday.
Alicia Keys, Smokey Robinson, Patti Labelle, and Kelly Clarkson also appeared to pay tribute to the late Queen of Soul in the special event, hosted by actor Tyler Perry.
The concert was filmed in front of 5,500 people back on January 13 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, less than five months after Aretha's death at the age of 76 on August 16, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
