INXS: Unreleased Michael Hutchence tracks will be featured in documentary

More than 21 years after INXS singer Michael Hutchence killed himself, two previously unheard recordings of his are coming out.

The tracks are included in the upcoming Hutchence documentary Mystify, which will premiere next month at New York's Tribeca Film Festival.

All we know about the recently discovered recordings is that they are covers.

Mystify director Richard Lowenstein oversaw more than a dozen of the band’s videos, including “Burn for You" (1984), "What You Need" (1985), "Listen Like Thieves" (1986), "Need You Tonight"/"Mediate" (1987) and "Never Tear Us Apart" (1988).

A spokesman for the film said, "There will be many insights revealed about Michael’s life and his music. Movies like Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star Is Born remind us of the extraordinary contributions that are made to popular culture when movies and music are creatively intertwined, and...Mystifywill be another great example.” (Billboard)
