Mark Knopfler is the latest artist to get into the spirits game.
On April 1st, he'll take the wraps off of his own signature line of Portobello Road Gin.
Knopfler joins a list of artists with their own line of spirits or wine that includes Sammy Hagar, Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffett, Vince Neil, Neil Giraldo, John Lodge, Mick Fleetwood, Roger Daltrey and Jon Bon Jovi.
Knopfler is a guest on AC/DC singer Brian Johnson's new British TV show, A Life on the Road, and the two duet on the 1962 comedic song by Bernard Cribbins, "The Hole in the Ground." Both Knopfler and Johnson grew up in Newcastle, England.
