Janet Jackson didn't perform at Rock Hall induction because of HBO doc

Janet Jackson did not perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction on Friday, and a report claims she refused because of HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary.

The Jackson family has blasted the documentary, which details Jackson’s alleged sexual abuse of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, and according to "Variety" Janet refused to perform because of HBO’s involvement in the Hall of Fame ceremony.

A source told the trade Janet, “declined to participate in a customary musical number because the event will be filmed for later broadcast on HBO, the cable network that aired ‘Leaving Neverland.’”

An edited version of Hall of Fame induction will air on HBO April 27th at 7pm.
