Joe Elliott hates Def Leppard's bio-pic

The members of Queen seem to be thrilled with Bohemian Rhapsody and the guys in Motley Crue have been very positive about The Dirt, but you won't hear any kind words from Def Leppard's Joe Elliott about their bio-pic.

For you younger listeners, the story of the band was told way back in 2001 in the VH1-produced Hysteria:The Def Leppard Story. One reviewer said at the time, "If the film weren't based on a real band, I'd swear it was supposed to be the sequel to Rob Reiner's 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap.

Elliott takes it even farther than that. He tells Rolling Stone that the movie was "the biggest pile of [bleep] ever made." He goes on to say that while he very much doubts anybody would be really interested in making another one, "We’re open to anything." So if someone came along and wanted to make it? "Why not?"
