Billy Joel flashed his green side on Saturday.
The day after performing his monthly residency at New York's Madison Square Garden, Long Island's most famous rock and roller helped clean the beachfront at Oyster Bay.
Town supervisor Joseph Saladino tells the New York Post that Billy really went above and beyond. "He got up early and came out on a morning with not ideal weather, and was so gracious to everyone. He’s a big supporter of the environment."
The Piano Man kicks his off his annual series of ballpark shows on April 26th at Miller Park in Milwaukee. He'll be back at Madison Square Garden on May 9th.
