Boon Gould, a founding member of the '80s band Level 42, was found dead Tuesday at his home in Dorset, England. The guitarist and sax player was 64.
Gould played in Level 42 between 1980 and 1987, and then reunited with his bandmates for a one-off performance in 2012.
Leads singer Mark King tweeted, "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to tell you of the passing of our dear friend and brother Boon Gould... You are at peace now Boon, no more pain mate."
Level 42 hit the Top 10 in 1986 with "Something About You." A year later, their "Lessons in Love" peaked at number-12. (BBC)
