Mariah Carey is in a legal battle with a former assistant over a provocative and potentially embarrassing video.
Mimi wants to prevent Lianna Shakhnazaryan -- whom she fired in 2017 -- from releasing secretly recorded footage. Carey claims the former employee is trying to blackmail her for millions over the contents of the video.
Shakhnazaryan denies the allegation -- and has asked a court to toss a $3 million lawsuit against her. She's also pushing back with a suit of her own charging wrongful termination, retaliation, failure to prevent discrimination and harassment, sexual harassment, emotional distress, and battery.
