Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman says he went on a roller-coaster ride making the documentary about him, appropriately titled The Quiet One, even though Stones drummer Charlie Watts is the quietest member of the band.
Wyman tells Variety, “The best thing about working on the documentary was reliving the nice times. The worst was getting emotional at times... The most surprising thing was watching scenes come to fruition. There are definite divisions in time in my very unusual life -- which will be apparent when the film is finished.”
And Wyman, who has written two autobiographies, adds that the movie has proven to be a "positive way of getting things right. But I can’t get everything into the film that I hoped for. My life is a bit like War and Peace.”
The Quiet One is making the rounds on the movie festival circuit.
