Rod Stewart performed for a very special audience on Sunday.
The legendary British performer, born seven months before the end of World War II, did his song "Sailing" for a group of British World War II veterans. The survivors from the Greatest Generation then sailed to the D Day landing site in France to mark this week's 75th anniversary of the invasion that was the turning point in the war.
The men, now in their 90s, will return to Portsmouth on Wednesday, where Queen Elizabeth and President Trump will pay tribute to their bravery. Then on Thursday, they will meet Prince Charles at a ceremony in Bayeux. (London Sun)
