Tommy Lee seems to be a little prickly about criticism of the Motley Crue bio-pic, The Dirt.
A while back, he went off on a female critic for Esquire who wrote that the film was "demeaning towards women," calling her a "little girl" whose take on the movie was "laughable." This time, it's none other than Courtney Love who's got him riled up.
To be fair, Love's criticism of the picture, in Interview magazine, was pretty harsh. She called it the "dumbest" Netflix film ever, said it was "so stupid and vile about women" and talked about watching it with a bunch of female friends and laughing over its groan-inducing and predictable script. Lee responded by tweeting, "Hey @Courtney When's your movie coming out? Oh wait.... Never!!!!!"
That prompted Love to reply, "'We like Courtney.' - Dame Elizabeth Taylor #Interview#LizTaylor#CarrieFisher."
By the way, The Dirt has a critics score of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes, so Courtney isn't exactly an outlier on this one. (Blabbermouth)
