Forget that noise about Madonna's reign as Queen of Pop being over -- she extended her rule by taking the number-one spot onBillboard's album chart with Madame X.
The controversial album debuted at the top spot with just over 95,000 "equivalent units" in sales -- meaning streams, downloads and physical sales combined. Proving Madge fans are old-school, 90,000 of those were actual albums sold, according to Nielsen figures.
Madame X gives the Material Matron her ninth number-one album, the second-most among female artists. She trails only Barbra Streisand.
