Fans of the King can look forward to some new collections coming later this summer, with both packages celebrating work Elvis did 50 years ago
The first release, 'Live 1969', is set to drop August 9th, and will mark the 50th anniversary of Elvis’ residency at the International Hotel in Las Vegas, where he sold out 57 shows. It will be an 11-CD box set, featuring 11 full sets from the Vegas run, two of which haven’t been heard since their initial performance.
The second, 'American Sound 1969', dropping digitally on August 23rd, focuses on the music Elvis made at Memphis’ American Studio, and will feature 90 tracks of rare and unreleased material.
