There’s no doubt parents are way more protective of their kids these days than they were in the past. Most adults probably remember some of the fun and exciting things they were able to do as kids years ago that would never be acceptable now. Now they are reminiscing about that on social media.
Over the weekend, a hashtag began trending on Twitter, with folks sharing the risky things they did as kids, including riding a bike without a helmet, riding in the back of a pickup truck, doing backflips off a swing, and more.
Check out some of the responses below:
-Riding on the handlebars of someone's bike as we went whizzing down a giant asphalt hill
-Running around the neighborhood, unsupervised with no cell phone!
-Rode in the backseat of a station wagon facing the cars coming right at me
