Eddie Money won't be returning to the stage this year.
Money had heart valve surgery in late May, and TMZ reports that singer contracted pneumonia during recovery. Money's rep said that he's "on the mend" but has canceled all shows for the rest of the year to fully recover. The 70-year-old originally pushed back his surgery to late May so he could still perform his Memorial Day weekend shows.
Money's first solo album in 12 years, Brand New Day, is due out on July 19th. There's no word yet if the album release will be pushed back.
