Some people just enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning while being naked.
However, most people will put on clothes when they head over to the local coffee shop for a cup.
Apparently, that's not the case with one gentleman from Vermont who can be seen on security footage conversing with the cashier, who calmly directed the man to a self-serve pot of coffee. The cashier of 'Bringing You Vermont', a local cafe and gift shop that sells all made-in-Vermont products, says the man simply came in for a cup of coffee. “He made a comment about the weather, about how hot it was,” and went about his day, she said.
Even though Vermont does not have a law against people who want to strut around the city in their birthday suits, the cashier says they would not have allowed the customer to sit down and drink his coffee for health reasons. She did say that they had no problem with the man and that it wasn't a regular occurrence but would serve him again with or without clothes on.
A couple tourists asked if nude customers were a normal sighting. Hassett said they weren’t able to get the name of the naked man because he didn’t pay with a credit card. He paid with cash.
The man went to a sandwich place after his coffee, where police were called, but no arrest was made, Hassett said.
