Elvis Week: Annual auction kicks off with more memorabilia

The annual auction of Elvis Presley memorabilia has begun online with more than 400 items up for bids.

Among this year's highlights :

  • A 1957 concert poster from Presley's September 2nd, 1957 show in Portland, Oregon. It's expected to go for between $30,000 and $50,000.
  • His federal drug agent badge, given to him in 1970, when he signed on to President Nixon's anti-drug initiative. Estimated price: $10,000 to $15,000.
  • A never-played 1954 pressing of the early Presley single "Blue Moon of Kentucky." Expected price: $8,000 to $10,000.
  • A copy of the Loving You movie soundtrack album signed by Elvis, along with a photo of the King of Rock and Roll with Donna Cullum, the fan who had him sign it. Estimated Price: $3,000 to $5,000.

Bidding continues online through the 12th. The auction concludes with live bidding at Graceland on August 13th.
