Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" tops a newspaper's list of the 100 Greatest Title Tracks by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers.
Calling the song "a masterclass in layering that would reshape R&B music, Cleveland.com says, "If Marvin Gaye were alive today, he'd probably be heartbroken to learn that the messages on 'What's Going On' are even more relevant today than they were when he released his landmark album back in 1971. It was a socially conscious crowning achievement that changed Motown and the soul music world."
The Eagles' "Hotel California," David Bowie's "Heroes," Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are a-Changin" and Janet Jackson's "Control" round out the Top 5.
